Coffee from this region is grown at extremely high altitudes in iron-rich, acidic soils that create an optimal growing condition for specialty coffee. This lot comes from somewhat small, family-owned farms in the Gedeo region of Yirgacheffe.Washed Yirgacheffe beans like this variety generally have clean, bright, floral cupping profiles.
