These GR1 Sumatra Takengon beans are sourced from the Jagong Mill and neighboring family-owned farms based in the Takengon and Atu Lintang coffee region on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The Junus family, owners of the Jagong Mill, have focused on strict ripe cherry selection - producing something truly unique in Sumatra. The family has also taken full control of the processing and milling right up to the final export stage to avoid convoluted supply chains that can weaken the quality of Sumatran coffee.
